I am currently in my twelfth year of teaching. This is my fourth year to teach at Newcastle High School. I received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English, a minor in Theatre and a 6-12 teaching certification from Midwestern State University. I am also certified to teach Home Economics and Speech. I currently direct the Spring One Act Play, and I also coach the Newcastle High School Cheerleaders and Dance Team.
Look at our English III Technology Projects |
All English I, II, and III students are required to read two books outside of class every nine weeks. These books must be at least 6th grade or above in reading level. On the due date, students must have taken an AR test/teacher created test over the book and be prepared to conference about the book with me. Novel Reaction Paper-English II and III
Every year each class has the joy of writing a research paper for English class. Look here for more information about this project later.
