I am currently in my twelfth year of teaching. This is my fourth year to teach at Newcastle High School. I received a Bachelor of Arts  with  a major in English, a minor in Theatre and a 6-12 teaching  certification from Midwestern State University. I am also certified to teach Home Economics and Speech. I currently direct the Spring  One Act Play, and I also coach the Newcastle High School Cheerleaders and  Dance Team.

English III Links Page

All English I, II, and III students are required to read two books outside of class every nine weeks. These books must be at least 6th grade or above in reading level. On the due date, students must have taken an AR test/teacher created test over the book and be prepared to conference about the book with me.
